Joshua Wallace, a military working dog handler, sends Edu, a military working dog, both assigned to the 520th Military Police Detachment (Military Working Dog), 8th Military Police Brigade, 8th Theater Sustainment Command, to look for simulated contraband during Salaknib 2025 at Camp Aquino, Philippines, on March 26, 2025. Philippine Soldiers, Philippine Marines, and U.S. Soldiers came together at Camp Aquino to share experiences, techniques, and how they operate with their military working dogs. Salaknib 2025 is an annual exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the U.S. Military designed to strengthen bilateral interoperability, capabilities, trust, and cooperation built over decades of shared experiences.
