A U.S. Marine with with Marine Rotational Force – Darwin 25.3, and a sailor with USS Emory S. Land (AS-39), play a friendly game of soccer with the senior men’s team of the Mindil Aces Football Club during a sporting event held in Darwin, Australia, March 29, 2025. The Club is one of the largest single code sporting clubs in Darwin that provides a welcoming, family-oriented environment for all to enjoy playing association football within the community. MRF-D is an annual six-month rotational deployment to enhance interoperability with the Australian Defence Force and allies and partners and provide a forward-postured crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific.
