Staff Sgt. Yusuf Sesay, the liaison staff noncommissioned officer with Georgian Liaison Team 8, from Hyattsville, Md., bids farewell to fellow church members before departing for a seven-month deployment to Afghanistan at Camp Pendleton, Calif., March 22. During their deployment members from GLT 8 along with Marines from 1st Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company will provide a link between soldiers from the Georgian Army and Marines operating in southern Afghanistan.
