U.S. Soldiers, assigned to 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, work with U.S. Customs and Border Protection and one of their unmanned aircraft systems to survey the East Presidio sector during border security operations near Presidio, Texas, March 25, 2025. Under the direction of the U.S. Northern Command, Joint Task Force–Southern Border aligns efforts to seal the southern border and repel illegal activity and is responsible for full-scale, agile, and multi-domain operations, which will allow for more effective and efficient DoD operations.
