CHINHAE, South Korea (Feb. 26, 2025) – Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 3, Detachment Chinhae, cool down after a day of sports and physical training activities alongside Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN) Sailors assigned to ROKN NMCB 2 and 59th Naval Mobile Construction Squadron, onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Chinhae, Feb. 26. These joint activities strengthen the vital partnership and enhance interoperability between the U.S. and ROK navies. NMCB-3 serves as the stand-in engineering force for Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, executing high-quality construction operations, activities, and investments, and is capable at the unit-of-action level to support major combat operations in the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of operations with efficient airfield, waterfront, and advanced base construction.
