U.S. Navy HM3 Nyel Evelyn, a corpsman with 4th Medical Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group, Marine Forces Reserve, helps transport a simulated casualty as part of Certification Exercise 25.1 on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, March 19, 2025. Marines and Sailors with 4th MLG supported 2nd Medical Battalion CERTEX with logistical support of ground assets, advance trauma care and surgical support capabilities. This iteration was the largest CERTEX in 2nd Medical Battalion history, validating their ability to generate combat ready medical forces in support of II Marine Expeditionary Force.
