Sailors from U.S. Indo-Pacific Command J018 Tulsa, Navy Medical Reserve Training Center Great Lakes and Reserve Support Unit Tulsa improve their warfighting readiness under the watchful eyes of their combat-experienced instructors while completing the practical phase of the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) course at Navy Reserve Center Tulsa, Nov. 17, 2024. During the final practical exercise, Electronics Technician Second Class Kyle Pianalto demonstrated abdominal wound occlusion on his moulage patient. TCCC is designed to provide military service members and non-medical providers with the knowledge and skills needed to provide basic medical aid to trauma casualties and eliminate preventable deaths in a tactical combat environment and other emergency situations.
