U.S. Army paratroopers assigned to Attack Company, 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment (Airborne), 173rd Airborne Brigade, detain and reach to remove M4 rifle from the enemy as they conduct a situational training exercise (STX), as part of Attack Napad at Gasinci training area, Croatia, Mar. 08, 2025. Attack Napad exercise develops the company lethality and experience, increasing the battalion's ability to operate across the Brigade Support Area of operation.
The 173rd Airborne Brigade is the U.S. Army's Contingency Response Force in Europe, providing rapidly deployable forces to the United States European, African, and Central Command areas of responsibility. Forward deployed across Italy and Germany, the brigade routinely trains alongside NATO allies and partners to build partnerships and strengthen the alliance.
