Brig. Gen. Piotr Saniuk, commander of the 1st Aviation Brigade, Polish Land Forces, and Col. John Gunter, commander of the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, congratulated the 1st Cavalry Division on a successful rotation Feb. 24, 2025 at the 1st Aviation Brigade Headquarters in Inowrocław, Poland. The units met to discuss operational planning and ensure a seamless transition between the Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Armored Division and the 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, enhancing U.S.-Polish cooperation and reinforcing NATO's defense posture in the region.
