    Royal Australian Navy Commodore David Frost, Naval Attaché to Washington, visited the Navy Warfare Development Center (NWDC) at Naval Station Norfolk on March 6, 2025, where he was welcomed by NWDC Director Mr. Michael Durkin.

    Commodore Frost highlighted the strong U.S.- Australia naval partnership, emphasizing their shared commitment to global security, enhanced defense capabilities, and interoperability. Discussions focused on improving joint naval operations, integrating new technologies, refining readiness training, and addressing security challenges in the Indo-Pacific.

    Commodore Frost also recognized Commander Simon Dent, an Australian Navy officer assigned to NWDC’s Personnel Exchange Program, for his 20 years of military service.
