PHILIPPINE SEA (February 26, 2025) – Machinist’s Mate 1st Class Michael Gibson from Knoxville, Tennessee, picks up a screw while doing corrective maintenance on the recovery assistance, securing and traversing (RAST) system aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Ralph Johnson (DDG 114) while underway in the Philippine Sea, Feb. 26. Ralph Johnson is forward deployed and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest DESRON and the U.S. 7th fleet’s principal surface force.
