U.S. Army National Guard Soldiers, assigned to Alpha Company, 3rd Battalion, 140th Aviation Regiment, conducts a flight inside a LUH-72 Lakota near San Deigo, Calif., Feb. 24, 2025. U.S. Northern Command is working together with the Department of Homeland Security to augment U.S. Customs and Border Protection along the southern border with additional military forces.
