U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Daniel Rochelle, a North Carolina native and an infantry machine gunner with Fox Company, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, provides simulated suppressive fire during a raid training exercise at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Feb. 14, 2025. As the command element of a Marine Air-Ground Task Force, the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit completed a certification exercise, conducted by Expeditionary Operations Training Group, to prepare for a diverse range of potential future missions, including personnel recovery, embassy reinforcement, foreign humanitarian assistance, and non-combatant evacuation operations.
