PHILIPPINE SEA (January 29, 2025) – Fireman Apprentice Adolfo Madrid from San Antonio, Texas, leads a firefighting team towards a simulated fire during a damage control training scenario aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Ralph Johnson (DDG 114) while conducting routine operations in Sagami Bay, Jan. 29. Ralph Johnson is forward deployed and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest DESRON and the U.S. 7th fleet’s principal surface force.
