A U.S. Marine in digital camouflage (MARPAT) uniform escorts civilian visitors, likely Japanese, through a military hangar during what appears to be a public open house or community relations event. Two visitors, a young girl and a woman, are wearing military flight helmets, suggesting they are being allowed to try on equipment. A large tiltrotor aircraft, consistent with a V-22 Osprey, is visible in the background.

Lance Cpl. Devon B. Springer walks away from an MV-22B Osprey after taking a photo with Okinawa community members during a family day hosted by Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 March 3 at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma. The family day was held to familiarize more than 300 parents and children from the community with the aircraft and safety equipment and provide an opportunity to ask questions about the aircraft and its capabilities.
