Spc. Andrew Amm, 89th Military Police Brigade, performs a simulated intravenous line insertion on the first female medical manikin developed for the U.S. Army on Jan. 9, 2024, at Fort Cavazos, Texas. The manikins have high fidelity animatronics and sensors, allowing Soldiers to receive live feedback when providing complex first aid in rugged environments to models that feature realistic female anatomy, such as smaller intercostal spaces.
