ZUSHI, Japan (Dec. 5, 2024) — Children at Ikego Heights Housing Area of Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) turn on the switch to light the Christmas tree as Cmdr. Patrick Gutierrez, CFAY’s chief staff officer, leads the count down. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
