U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Rohan Uk fires an M4 Carbine on a short bay range at Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Nov. 22, 2024. The purpose of this range was to implement new Scoretech applications for data analysis of marksmanship ranges into the Fleet Marine Force to increase proficiency with service rifles and individual lethality. Uk, a native of Maryland, is an engineer equipment mechanic forward deployed in the Indo-Pacific under the Unit Deployment Program with 4th Marines, 3d Marine Division.
