Col. Paul Metzdorff (left), the Illinois Army National Guard's Director of Personnel (G1), was selected for Knighthood in the U.S. Cavalry and Armor Association's Order of St. George. Col. Metzdorff received the Silver Medallion after his knighting ceremony. He has been recognized for long and honorable service to Armor and Cavalry and for being among the "very best tankers and cavalrymen" among the association's members. He is shown with 33rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team Commander Col. Seth Hible, who adminstered the knighting. The knighthood was part of the Army Guard's Commander's Guidance Seminar, Nov. 19-21, in Springfield, Illinois.
