Spartan Dagger was the first live, virtual, constructive tactical level joint fires and close air support exercise that included participants from the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, Czechia Armed Forces, Finnish Armed Forces, Dutch Armed Forces and Polish Armed Forces. The 1st Cavalry Division’s mission in Europe is to engage in multinational training and exercises across the continent, working alongside NATO allies and regional security partners to provide competent and ready forces to V Corps, America’s forward-deployed corps in Europe.
