Members of the Scientist and Engineer Demand Force Team (SEDFT) demonstrate the technical outputs and innovations developed during the Combat Innovation Exercise, held Aug. 5-8, 2024, at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. Organized by the Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions Directorate with support from AFWERX, the innovation arm of the Department of the Air Force, the event tested the capabilities of the Scientist and Engineer Demand Force Team through a series of drills and realistic technical threats simulating future conflict scenarios.
