    241030-N-NF288-102 PHILIPPINE SEA (Oct. 30, 2024) An MH-60R Sea Hawk from the Warlords of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 51 receives a fuel line during a helicopter in-flight refueling (HIFR) exercise with the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Ralph Johnson (DDG 114) in the Philippine Sea, Oct. 30. HIFR allows for airborne refueling in situations where a flight deck landing isn’t possible. Ralph Johnson is forward deployed and assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest DESRON and the U.S. 7th fleet’s principal surface force.
