Staff Sgt. Alexander Zivic, a native of Mobile, Ala., explains the uses of a TRIMBLE Total Station survey gun, which is used in the surveying of construction sites, to officers of the 6th Iraqi Army Engineer Battalion. Soldiers of the 769th Engineer Battalion have participated in several partnership training events with their IA engineer counterparts since their arrival to Iraq. Zivic serves as a technical engineering sergeant with the 231st Survey and Design Team, which is based out of Gulfport, Miss., is assigned to the 769th Eng. Bn., 35th Engineer Brigade, Multi-National Division - Baghdad.
