ATLANTIC OCEAN (October 23, 2024) Aviation Electronics Technician 3rd Class Abcde Delizo, from Los Angeles, assigned to the “Spartans” of Helicopter Maritime Squadron (HSM) 70, performs routine maintenance on an avionic blower fan of an MH-60R Seahawk helicopter in the hangar bay the world’s largest aircraft carrier, USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), Oct. 23, 2024. USS Gerald R. Ford, the flagship of the Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group, is currently underway in the U.S. 2nd Fleet area of perations, conducting Surface Warfare Advanced Tactical Training (SWATT). SWATT is the surface force’s premiere advanced tactical training exercise that increases war-fighting capability and tactical proficiency across all domains.
