Sgt. 1st Class Mateusz Zalucki, U.S. Army Europe and Africa Government Relations Division Host Nation Advisor to Poland, places a bouquet of flowers during a ceremony in remembrance of the 68th anniversary of the Hungarian Uprising in Poznan, Poland, Oct. 23, 2024. The ceremony honors two Poznan area residents who took part in the Hungarian Uprising, Peter Mansfeld and Romek Strzałkowski. As the Army's only forward deployed corps, V Corps is committed to strengthening relationships with NATO Allies and partner nations while continuing to deter aggression in eastern Europe.
