The training was conducted for both Thai and U.S. service members to maintain their knowledge and work together should they become a downed pilot. Thailand and the U.S. are committed to working together in areas of common interest for the betterment of regional security. Pickerill is an aero medical safety officer with Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force. Keeney is a pilot with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265, MAG-36. Nga-Sa-Nga is a pilot with Squadron 401, RTAF.
