U.S. Airmen assigned to the 902d Civil Engineer Squadron celebrate following a vehicle extrication demonstration at the Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph Fire Prevention Month open house at JBSA-Randolph, Texas, Oct. 5, 2024. The free event offered visitors the opportunity to explore the fire station, watch demonstrations and connect with first responders in their community. Guests were also able to get hands-on experience with a training fire extinguisher system including pull stations and alert equipment, empowering individuals with knowledge and tools to prevent and respond to fire emergencies while reflecting the theme “Smoke Alarms: Make Them Work for You.” (U.S. Air Force photo by Kathryn R.C.
