Minnesota Governor Tim Walz signed Emergency Executive Order 24-12 authorizing the Minnesota National Guard to provide emergency assistance in response to Florida’s request through the Emergency Management Assistance Compact, a mutual aid agreement among U.S. states and territories that enables them to share their resources during responses to natural disasters. 148th Fighter Wing provides mission ready Airmen and equipment to meet state and federal taskings while promoting critical partnerships.
