A plaque is displayed in memory of U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Kcey Ruiz within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility, Oct. 3, 2024. A U.S. Air Force non commissioned officer assigned to the 386th Air Expeditionary Wing discovered the plaque did not reflect her posthumous promotion and organized a ceremony and helped update the plaque to ensure her legacy was properly honored.
