YOKOSUKA, Japan (Sept. 27, 2024) — Chief Fire Controlmen (Aegis) Kevin Carter, assigned to Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), dons the combination cover during the Chief Pinning Ceremony held at the installation’s Fleet Theater. Carter was one of the 14 new chiefs with the command who made the new rank. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
