AFA, Washington, D.C (AFRL) - Gen. David W. Allvin is the Chief of Staff of the Air Force speaks with Alyson Turri from the Air Force Research Laboratory, or AFRL, about the substantial research that AFRL conduct that helped in the development of the Collaborative Combat Aircraft, or CCA at the AFRL booth during the Air, Space and Cyber Conference at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland, Sept. 18, 2024. CCAs are uncrewed weapon systems leveraging Department of the Air Force investments in autonomy and crewed-uncrewed teaming to project air power against adversaries. CCA is a technology transition from the AFRL Science and Technology investment and operational experimentation activities under the Skyborg Vanguard effort to an acquisition program of record.
