GREAT LAKES, Ill. (Sept. 18, 2024) Naval Station Great Lakes (NSGL) Fleet and Family Support Center holds a going-away celebration for Paula Wagner, Family Life Specialist that serves as the Ombudsman program coordinator. Wagner played an integral role in recruiting, training and mentoring new ombudsmen as well as provides support to veteran ombudsmen. Wagner also facilitates the monthly assembly between NSGL and Tenant commands’ commanding officers and command master chiefs with the ombudsmen to discuss issues, learn about resources, and bring concerns to leadership.
