Local workers construct a wet screening station for dirt excavation as part of a Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) recovery mission to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Aug. 25, 2024. The excavated dirt is screened by DPAA personnel and local workers to find possible osseous material or other material evidence. There are approximately 1,575 unaccounted-for personnel in Vietnam.
