VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – U.S. Navy explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) technicians from Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Units (EODMU) 2, 6, 8, and 12 and EOD Training and Evaluation Unit (EODTEU) 2 compete in a fitness competition at Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group (EODGRU) 2 STRIKE facility during the Navy EOD King Crab Competition, Aug. 13, 2024. King Crab is a four-day combat-focused military skills competition that challenges the physical and mental endurance of Navy EOD technicians, highlighting the scope of unique skillsets and capabilities.
