Rudy Mesa engages with the service member families during his remembrance speech at the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency Korean/Cold War Annual Government Briefing held in Arlington, Va., Aug. 15, 2024. Personnel from DPAA met with more than 400 family members of U.S. service members who went missing during the Korean or Cold War. During their attendance, families were briefed on government policy updates, recovery operations, identification methods and received case-specific detailed information.
