When asked what piece of advice she would give to her younger self she said, “It takes a long time for people to recognize your hard work so don’t give up, keep trying, keep grinding and people will have no choice but to recognize.” 2nd MLG recognizes one outstanding Marine or Sailor that goes above and beyond in their duties and embodies the qualities of an outstanding service member.
