U.S. Army soldiers assigned to 588th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, conduct remediation operations following a digging exercise using a D7 dozer with a winch at Drawsko Combat Training Center, Poland, July 22, 2024. The horizontal construction engineers trained on digging fighting positions for Bradley Fighting Vehicles and the M1 Abrams main battle tank, anti-vehicle ditches, and building trenches for dismounted units. Following the digging exercise, soldiers used their assigned equipment to restore all of the dirt moved and flatten the earth for follow on training to be conducted. 3rd ABCT, 4th ID is among other units assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division, proudly working alongside NATO allies and regional security partners to provide combat-credible forces to V Corps, America's forward-deployed corps in Europe.
