Samuel Prince in Clovis, New Mexico, Aug. 8, 2024. Prince served with the U.S. Army’s 200th Coast Artillery Regiment during World War II, fighting in the Philippines until his death in Cabanatuan POW Camp #1 on Sept. 22, 1942.
