U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Russell Driggers, Joint Base San Antonio and 502d Air Base Wing outgoing commander, renders a final salute during the 502d ABW change of command ceremony at JBSA-Randolph, Texas, July 31, 2024. The JBSA commander executes 49 installation support functions across 11 geographically distinct locations to enable the largest joint base in the Department of Defense, consisting of more than 250 mission partners, 80,000 full-time personnel, and a local community of more than 250,000 retirees.
