Maj. Alex Grayson, Capt. John Squatrito and Senior Airman Ellis Fiscus, aircrew members assigned to the 50th Air Refueling Squadron, are recognized for their heroism while participating in aerial flight during military operations involving conflict at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, June 26, 2024. They are among the six aircrew members who will be receiving the Distinguished Flying Cross, this medal is awarded to any officer or enlisted person of the armed forces of the United States for heroism or extraordinary achievement while participating in aerial flight.
