Staff Sgt. Koke Pomele, an infantry squad leader assigned to Company F, 2nd Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, attached to the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad, answers questions of a resident Son of Iraq (Abna al-Iraq), April 16, during cordon and search operations around the Saha apartments in the southeastern Rashid District of Baghdad. The Stryker Infantry unit out of Vilseck, Germany, conducted point raids, emplaced standing cordon and search operations and combined patrols with Iraqi security forces, April 16-17, as part of ongoing clearing operations to bring greater security to Baghdad.
