NORFOLK, Va. (July 13, 2024) Vice Adm. Doug Perry, commander, U.S. 2nd Fleet and Joint Force Command Norfolk, speaks with families and friends during a homecoming event for the "Dusty Dogs" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 7 at Naval Station Norfolk. HSC-7, part of Carrier Air Wing 3 embarked on the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), returned to Naval Station Norfolk following a nine-month combat deployment to the Naval Forces Central (NAVCENT) area of operations.
