(July 12, 2024) Two E-2C Hawkeyes, attached to the “Screwtops” of Airborne Command and Control Squadron (VAW) 123, taxi at Naval Station Norfolk during a homecoming event. VAW-123, part of Carrier Air Wing 3 embarked on USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69), returned to Naval Station Norfolk following a nine-month combat deployment to the Naval Forces Central (NAVCENT) area of operations.
