Collard, the Amry Reserve Medical Command deputy commanding general, presented his commander's coin to John Cheney, the Orlando Predators owner, during the July 5, 2024, Arena Football League playoff game between the Predators and the Nashville Kats. Collard attended the Predator's Military Appreciation Night along with six Army Reserve Soldiers and their guests, performing the pre-game coin toss and administering the Affirmation of Enlistment Oath to the Soldiers at a halftime ceremony.
