Navy Chief Petty Officer Joey Alonso, Joint Task Force Guantanamo, stands ready at the microphone on April 16 to entertain U.S. Naval Station Guantanamo Bay residents as the co-host of the Naval Media Center Broadcasting Detachment, Guantanamo Bay's early morning radio program, "The Blitz Morning Show." Navy Chief Petty Officer Joe Clark, officer in charge of the detachment, controls the computer which runs the recording session for their show. JTF Guantanamo conducts safe and humane care and custody of detained enemy combatants. The JTF conducts interrogation operations to collect strategic intelligence in support of the Global War on Terror and supports law enforcement and war crimes investigations. JTF Guantanamo is committed to the safety and security of American service members and civilians working inside its detention facilities.
