The 2023-24 class of the Gillette Area Leadership Institute visited Wyoming Army and Air Guard facilities to learn more about the Wyoming Guard and what they do on Feb. 14, 2024, in Cheyenne, Wyo. They rode in a UH-60 Black Hawk with the Army Guard, and flew in a C-130 Hercules with the Air Guard as well as toured some of the facilities. GALI is a nine-month program through the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce that is designed to promote a better understanding of the community, build and enhance leadership skills, and develop a strong network of community leaders.
