SCHRIEVER SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. -- The National Reconnaissance Office Operations Squadron (NOPS), conducted a change of command ceremony at Schriever SFB, CO 31 May 2024. During the ceremony, officiated by U.S. Air Force Colonel Eric Zarybnisky, Director, Office of Space Launch, U.S. Space Force (USSF) Lt Col Michaela Schannep relinquished command of the squadron to USSF Lt Col Mitchell Belger. The NOPS employs global resources to provide critical connectivity and telemetry, tracking and command data while serving as the single NRO interface to the Air Force Satellite Control Network.
