Col. Robert C. Jorgensen, Pennsylvania National Guard’s Service Member and Family Support director, retires after more than 28 years of Army service. His Army career began in August 1996 when he received his ROTC commission from James Madison University and enter active duty with the 1st Armored Division in Germany. In 2003, he left active duty and joined the Pennsylvania National Guard where he held a number of critical positions, culminating with his appointment as the J-9 Service Member and Family Support director, a role that has ensured countless Soldiers, Airmen and their families were well cared for.
