The 3D Multi-Domain Task Force, in conjunction with the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense, launched High-Altitude Balloons (HABs) from Won Pat International Airport in Guam on June 10, 2024. The HABs operated near the Marianas Islands as part of Exercise Valiant Shield 24, a multinational, biennial field training exercise focused on combined and joint interoperability in a multi-domain environment.
