A precision measurements equipment laboratory specialist assigned to the 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Squadron calibrates a micrometer at an undisclosed location within the U.S. Central Command area or responsibility, June 18, 2024. To calibrate a micrometer, technicians use a highly accurate gage block on top of a granite surface plate.
